About us
We're building the workforce infrastructure behind trustworthy AI.
Syncmoor connects AI companies with a vetted, managed workforce across Nigeria and Kenya - real people, fairly paid, doing the human work that AI still depends on: collecting speech, labeling images, evaluating model responses, and more.
Why we exist
Every major AI system is trained and checked by human judgment somewhere in its pipeline - and a lot of that work is done by people who are underpaid, poorly vetted, or working through platforms with no real quality process. We think that's solvable without sacrificing quality, and that Africa's talent pool is exactly the place to solve it: skilled, underemployed, and ready to do this work well when given a fair structure to do it in.
So Syncmoor isn't just a tool you rent - it's workforce infrastructure. We source contributors, verify their identity, test their readiness for the specific work a project needs, review their output against a real rubric, and pay them transparently and on time. Clients get vetted output; contributors get real, fairly paid work.
How we think about quality
Every project starts with a written guideline and rubric, not vague instructions. Contributors take a qualification test built around that specific guideline before they're approved, in addition to Mseto, our platform-wide certification that checks judgment across every category we support. Submitted work is checked against the rubric before it's approved - and only approved work gets paid or billed. That structure is what lets us promise real staffing, not just access to a crowd.
How we think about fairness
Contributors see real pay in real currency before they ever apply to a project - not points, not credits. Approved earnings are paid out on a predictable weekly cycle, with visible status the whole way through. We built the platform this way deliberately: a workforce that's treated fairly does better, more reliable work, and that's what our clients are actually paying for.
Where we operate
We currently source contributors in Nigeria and Kenya, and work with clients anywhere - including AI labs and data-driven companies based in the US. We're actively expanding both our contributor base and the range of work we support.
